IT Helpdesk Engineer
To further sustain and accelerate its growth, NUMECA is looking for an IT Helpdesk Engineer, to join the NUMECA International team based in Brussels.
Responsibilities:
As an IT Helpdesk Engineer your responsibilities will include:

Provide technical support to the organization’s internal users, hardware (desktops, laptops, IP connectivity, internal telephony system) and applications

Install, maintain and upgrade user devices

Troubleshoot any type of issues reported by internal users and work on their resolution or escalate it to a higher level
-
Ensure high rate of user satisfaction
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent is a prerequisite

Good knowledge of Windows 7, 8, 10
-
Knowledge of Windows Server 2012+

Good knowledge of different Linux distributions
-
Knowledge of scripting (*sh, perl, etc.)

Knowledge of networking and TCP/IP
-
Good knowledge of computer hardware
-
Knowledge of cabling
-
Fluent English language is a prerequisite for the role
Prefered Qualifications
-
French and Dutch are a plus.
