IT Helpdesk Engineer

To further sustain and accelerate its growth, NUMECA is looking for an IT Helpdesk Engineer, to join the NUMECA International team based in Brussels.

 

Responsibilities:

As an IT Helpdesk Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical support to the organization’s internal users, hardware (desktops, laptops, IP connectivity, internal telephony system) and applications

  • Install, maintain and upgrade user devices

  • Troubleshoot any type of issues reported by internal users and work on their resolution or escalate it to a higher level

  • Ensure high rate of user satisfaction
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent is a prerequisite

  • Good knowledge of Windows 7, 8, 10

  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2012+

  • Good knowledge of different Linux distributions

  • Knowledge of scripting (*sh, perl, etc.)

  • Knowledge of networking and TCP/IP

  • Good knowledge of computer hardware

  • Knowledge of cabling

  • Fluent English language is a prerequisite for the role

 

Prefered Qualifications

  • French and Dutch are a plus.
