Multiphysics Development Engineer

What’s the opportunity?

To further sustain and accelerate its growth, NUMECA is looking for a Multiphysics CFD Engineer, to join the NUMECA International team based in Brussels.

 

What will you do?

You will be part of the Multiphysics CFD Solver Group and participate to the development of NUMECA advanced CFD solvers devoted to multiphysics application, in particular multiphase flow modeling

In tight collaboration with other CFD developers, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Development of innovative physical models and computational methods for multiphysics/multiphase applications

  • Participate in R&D projects

  • Support teams in application of new functionalities.


Who and what are we looking for from you?

Required skills:

  • Master's or PhD’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is a prerequisite

  • Applicants should have a strong background in fluid mechanics, CFD software development and multi-physics modelling with a specific expertise in multi-phase modeling

  • Good experience with C++ programming and software development

  • Fluent English language is a prerequisite for the role.

Applicants should be highly motivated and dynamic, have good analytical and communication skills,  be a team player while taking ownership of the tasks assigned and be able to meet the highest quality standards in software development. Proven skills in engineering problem solving and written/oral communication are essential.
