Turbomachinery CFD Development Engineer

What’s the opportunity?

To further sustain and accelerate its growth, NUMECA is looking for a Turbomachinery CFD Development Engineer, to join the NUMECA International team based in Brussels.

What will you do?

In this role, you will be part of the Turbomachinery Computational Fluid Dynamics solver group, and participate to the development of NUMECA advanced CFD solvers devoted to turbomachinery applications.

In tight collaboration with other development teams and product managers, your tasks will be:

• Development of innovative physical models and computational methods for Turbomachinery applications

• Contribution to the development of NUMECA's advanced CFD technology

• Participation to the maintenance and the release process of high quality CFD solver

Who and what are we looking for from you?

• Master's or PhD’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is a prerequisite

• In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics and CFD software development

• Good expertise in turbomachinery is a plus

• Good experience with scientific programming languages and software development

• Fluent English language is a prerequisite for the role

• Dutch and French are a plus.
