To identify the hostname, hostID and VDH of your machine:
Step 1: Make sure it is a physical machine: the use of a virtual machine as a license server is not allowed.
Step 2: Download the archive Obtain-machine-details.zip and extract the full directory.
Step 3 (Windows): Execute Windows-get-machine-details.bat by double-clicking the file.
Step 3 (Linux): In the console/ terminal go to the extracted directory (using the cd command)
Make the file executable with "chmod +x Linux-get-machine-details"
Execute ./Linux-get-machine-details
The lspci command is necessary to run the Linux-get-machine-details command.
Step 4: The machine details are entered in a text file machine-details.txt.
Step 5: Copy the hostname, hostID and VDH from machine-details.txt into the form.
